Summer Camp for Selective Mutism

Lead-in sessions will be scheduled the week prior to camp.
Program Overview
An intensive behavioural treatment program is being offered this summer for children with Selective Mutism.
Behavioural treatment for Selective Mutism is effective and evidence-based. This summer camp provides a fun
opportunity for children to practice building their social skills in a safe and encouraging environment.
What to Expect
- Classroom-like activities each morning
- Fun social activities each afternoon
- Individual support with identified talking and social skill goals
- Virtual parent groups to discuss tips and tricks
Purpose of the Camp
This program is designed to help children prepare for the new school year and build confidence while facing
common social challenges such as jumping into group activities, approaching others, having back-and-forth
conversations with peers, participating in group conversations, and presenting in front of others.
